1. The Purchaser agrees to buy from the Seller the following cat upon the terms and conditions of this agreement:

2. The Purchaser shall pay the Seller the total sum of $ _______ for the cat.

The deposit and all payments are nonrefundable with no exceptions however deposit for waitlist transferable to another kitten/cat available or toward a kitten in an upcoming litter. Deposit and payments expire one year from the contract date above.

Once you’ve chosen the ragdoll kittens you'd like to bring home, it's time to reserve them to ensure they don’t go to another family. Since we may be speaking with multiple people about the same kitten, we cannot control who places the deposit first.

 

Once a kitten is reserved, it will be marked as RESERVED and held exclusively for the person who placed the deposit.

 

Please note: The deposit is non-refundable once the ragdoll kitten is reserved for you, and no longer available to others. If a reserved kitten becomes available again, potential adopters may assume something is wrong with them. In such cases, we may need to reduce the price to find them a loving home—hence, deposits are non-refundable.

3.The Seller and the Purchaser acknowledge and agree the kitten is being purchased as a Pet/Companion.

4. The purchaser declares that the cat/kitten will not be abandoned, sold to any pet shop, given to any laboratory or kennel, hold in a cage and left without care longer than a 3 days. In case of situation when the Purchaser will be forced to relinquish the cat/kitten, he is obliged to offer cat back to the seller first and if agreed to find a proper house for it.

5. The Seller cannot make any guarantee on how said cat’s color, size, markings, temperament, and coat will develop.

6. The Purchaser will not have any type of surgical procedures performed on the cat for the purpose of removing any of the cat’s claws. If Purchaser does have any surgical procedures performed on the cat’s claws then all guarantees will be void.

7. The Purchaser agrees that the cat will live strictly indoors and will not be allowed outdoors unsupervised.

8. INSURANCE: We are responsible for any medical care while your kitten is with us. Once they go home with you, their health and well-being become your responsibility as their new guardian.

 

Cat in our care = medical bills are our responsibility.

Cat in your care = medical bills are your responsibility.

9. Its recommended for the purchaser to do a veterinarian health check within 2(two) days of possession to confirm that the cat is in good health. Kitten must be kept separated from all other pets until after this examination. This health guarantee in entirety is void if Purchaser fails to have a vet examine the kitten within 2(two) days after purchase. The Seller is not liable for any expenses (veterinary or otherwise) incurred by the Purchaser, and the Seller retains the right to corroborate any diagnosis. The Purchaser is obliged to an immediate notification within 2(two) days from the date of purchase about possible cat/kitten’s health deterioration or other noticeable illness symptoms. The seller must be informed of the test results in writing and the original health certificate of the cat must be posted to the seller. The lack of veterinary tests results - in the form of a certificate - nullifies the health guarantee from the seller and the Purchaser will lose the right for a complaint.

The Seller guarantees that the cat is healthy (free of disease or illness) at the time of pick-up.

If during your veterinarian determines that the kitten has serious illness, you may return the kitten and the seller at your expense (cost of transportation cat pays purchaser).

-we require an original written statement from licensed veterinarian.

-we will not reimburse for veterinary fees.

-kitten shipping fees are not refundable.

a. If the disease is not very dangerous and easy to cure, the seller is obliged to cure the cat as soon as possible in the cattery on seller's expense, 
 

b. If the disease is incurable, the seller is obliged to replace the cat with another one of the same breed, class and sex. The seller has the right to request all the documents confirming the disease and consult it with a veterinary surgeon to make sure, that it was not due to improper care for the cat after the collection.

c. If the purchaser wants to cure the cat on his own, the seller is automatically free of responsibility for the cat. In such case the seller is not obliged to compensate the expenses of the treatment or the price of the cat itself in case of its death during the treatment. If the disease is not very dangerous and easy to cure, the seller is obliged to cure the cat as soon as possible in the cattery on seller’s expense,

9. The Seller guarantees against genetic problems through the cat’s first year of life. If the cat is diagnosed with any genetic disease it must be confirmed by a specialist in that field (ex. If cat is said to have HCM, then the diagnosis report must be from a licensed cardiologist).

All veterinary care and associated costs are the responsibility of Purchaser. - The seller has the right to demand all documents certifying the presence of a pre-existing disease in the cat as well as the right to consult the disease with another veterinary surgeon to check if disease did not appear cause of not proper cat treatment.

 

If the purchaser wants to cure the cat on his own, the seller is automatically free of responsibility for the cat. In such case the seller is not obliged to compensate the expenses of the treatment or the price of the cat itself in case of its death during the treatment.

 

Your kitten has a one-year guarantee from the date of birth against lethal genetic or congenital defects, including Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). If a lethal genetic or congenital defect presents itself within the first year that results in death, seller shall replace kitten (minus shipping charges, if applicable) upon being provided a necropsy report (at purchaser’s expense) from a licensed veterinarian stating the unquestionable genetic or congenital defect that resulted in death. No replacement will be given without a necropsy….No exceptions! NO VETERINARY EXPENSES OR MONETARY REFUNDS FOR A CAT/KITTEN PURCHASED FROM RAGDOLLSFL WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON.

 

This kitten is guaranteed negative for FeLV, and FIV and free of external and internal parasites, including fleas at the time of purchase and for 2(two) days thereafter. Diarrhea, colds and, respiratory infections, ear mites, worms low blood sugar, or any other treatable conditions, including parasites, bacteria or viruses are not covered under this guarantee as they may be contracted after leaving and are not the result of genetics or breeding. FIP is covered ONLY until kittens 6 month birth date and a replacement will be offered after a necropsy is performed at purchasers expense, confirming FIP. Seller has no control over what cat/kitten is exposed to once kitten leaves our home.

Seller is not responsible for any allergies to cat/kitten and any allergies are not covered under this guarantee.

 

Only the lethal genetic or congenital defects, including Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) can be accepted as the reason of complaint, provided that they are diagnosed till the 12th month from the date of purchase.

 

Examples of conditions that would not qualify for replacement are innocent heart murmurs or allergies etc. In other words, conditions that an otherwise healthy cat can live with and be happy.

 

10. The Seller is not responsible for any cat's health (and behavior) problems resulting from environmental factors, bacterial or viral diseases, neglect of the guardian, random accidents.

 

11. Recommended diet: wet food once or twice a day and dry food to be available all day long, dry food to be used food from Life Abundance “All Life Stage Cat Food”, only filtered water or bottled water from store. Note, cat health guarantee is only valid if recommended food diet is followed, if food diet is not followed, this will result nullification of the cat health guarantee and nullification of this contract.

12. Kitten is not to be resold. If the kitten is found to have been sold or given away, the health guarantee is void and not transferable. No refunds will be given for a kitten/cat that was resold or given away.

 

13. The Purchaser agrees to keep all cats’ vaccinations current. Purchaser agrees to not give said cat a Feline Leukemia Vaccination or FIP Vaccination or all guarantees will be void.

 

14. All responsibility of the seller for any defects and genetic diseases ceases one year after purchasing the cat from the cattery.

 

15. The purchaser is to collect the cat from the seller on the agreed date. If the purchaser does not collect the cat till that date, additional fees will be started: $100 count first day of each extra week.

 

16. The seller reserves the right to withdraw from the transaction without giving the reason. In case of such withdrawal the seller returns the deposit to the prospective purchaser immediately.

 

17. The seller reserves the right to delay the delivery of the cat in case of doubts concerning health and well-being of the cat, e.g. in case of post-vaccination complications or change of the vaccination schedule due to health reasons or cats minor cold/flu, diarrhea or similar symptoms. The new date of the collection will be agreed upon between the seller and the purchaser in writing.

 

18. The seller is permitted to use all the information and pictures related to the sold cat for marketing and breeding purposes.

 

19. Signature below indicates that Purchaser has read and understands all aspects of this contract and is in full agreement and approval to all above terms and conditions.

 

This constitutes the complete agreement between Seller and Purchaser. All cats that are purchased will be considered sold in Sarasota County Florida regardless of the location of the purchaser. The venus of any litigation concerning the agreement or transaction shall be in Sarasota County Florida and may not be litigated in your state or your country.
