Our Commitment to Healthy Ragdoll Kittens
At RagdollsFL, the health and well-being of our kittens is an important part of our breeding program. Our breeding cats are health tested, and every kitten goes home with age-appropriate veterinary care, registration documentation and a written health guarantee.

Our kittens are covered by a one-year genetic health guarantee. Please review the information below and the Kitten Contract before adopting a kitten from RagdollsFL.
HEALTH TESTING
Health-Tested Parents
Responsible breeding begins with the health of the parents. Our breeding cats are tested for HCM, FeLV and FIV to help us make informed breeding decisions and support the health of future generations.
BEFORE GOING HOME
Preparing Kittens for Their New Homes
Our kittens remain with us during the important early stages of their development and typically go to their new homes at approximately 12 weeks of age.
Before going home, kittens are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and are prepared for the transition to their new families. TICA registration documentation and a Health Certificate are also provided as part of the adoption process.
ONE-YEAR COVERAGE
One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
Every RagdollsFL kitten is covered by a one-year genetic health guarantee. The guarantee is intended to provide our families with additional reassurance regarding serious genetic health conditions covered under our adoption agreement.
The complete terms, requirements, limitations and responsibilities associated with the health guarantee are provided in the RagdollsFL Kitten Contract. We encourage every prospective family to read the contract carefully before placing a deposit.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Your Kitten's Health After Adoption
Bringing a kitten home is a long-term commitment. New owners are responsible for providing appropriate veterinary care, nutrition, a safe living environment and ongoing care throughout their kitten's life.
Some requirements may also be conditions of the RagdollsFL Health Guarantee. Please refer to the Kitten Contract for the complete terms that apply after adoption.
